Hospice is a special way of caring for people with terminal illness. In collaboration with your physician, First State will work with you to determine eligibility. General guidelines for eligibility include:
- Documented life-limiting prognosis by a certified physician(s).
- The patient elects to receive comfort (palliative) care.
